- Introduction
Welcome to eZarurat.com (“eZarurat”, “we”, “our” or “us”), operated by Jha Info Solutions, having its business address at:
1st Floor, Sonianiwas, Shisudangi, Matigara, Siliguri – 734010, West Bengal, India.
eZarurat provides an online platform through which customers can discover, request and arrange home-related services from independent service providers.
By accessing our website, creating an account, submitting a service request or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
- Our Services
eZarurat facilitates customer requests and coordination for home and property-related services, including but not limited to:
- Interior Design and related services
- Air Conditioner (AC) Repair and Service
- Electrical Services
- Plumbing Services
- Refrigerator Repair and Service
- Carpentry
- Other home maintenance, repair and improvement services introduced on the platform.
The availability of services depends on the customer’s location, service-provider availability and the nature of the requested work.
We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue services from time to time.
- Nature of the Platform
eZarurat acts as an online booking, discovery and coordination platform connecting customers with independent service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a particular service arrangement, the actual repair, installation, maintenance, design or other service is performed by the assigned service provider or technician.
Service providers may operate independently and are responsible for their professional qualifications, workmanship, conduct, tools, equipment, materials and performance of the services they accept.
eZarurat may assist with booking coordination, communication, customer support and service-related feedback.
Nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law.
- Customer Registration and Information
Customers may be required to provide accurate information when submitting a booking, including:
- Full name
- Mobile number
- Service address
- Type of service required
- Preferred appointment date and time
- Other information reasonably necessary to arrange the service.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate and complete.
eZarurat may contact customers through phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email or other available communication methods regarding bookings, service updates and customer support.
- Booking and Service Confirmation
A customer may request a service through the eZarurat website or through another booking method officially provided by eZarurat.
Submitting a booking request does not automatically guarantee that a service provider is available or that an appointment is confirmed.
Our team may contact the customer to understand the requirement, confirm the location, discuss the estimated charges and coordinate with an appropriate service provider.
A booking will be treated as confirmed only after the necessary confirmation has been communicated.
The customer should provide reasonable access to the premises and relevant information required to perform the service safely.
- Service Charges and Estimates
The price of a service may depend on the nature of the work, labour, time required, inspection, spare parts, materials, transportation and other relevant costs.
Where possible, an estimated price or quotation will be communicated before the work begins.
The final price may change if additional work, replacement parts or unexpected repair requirements are identified.
The service provider must explain any additional charges to the customer and obtain the customer’s agreement before carrying out additional chargeable work.
Customers are advised to confirm the final service charges before authorising the work.
- Payment Methods
eZarurat provides two payment options, subject to availability for the particular booking.
7.1 Online Payment
Customers may pay online through the payment facility or payment gateway made available by eZarurat.
Online payments are subject to the applicable payment gateway, bank and financial institution terms.
Where eZarurat or its authorised payment partner collects the service amount, the amount payable to the service provider may be settled in accordance with the applicable service-provider agreement, after adjustment of the agreed commission and any authorised deductions.
7.2 Payment Directly to the Service Provider After Completion
Where this option is available, customers may pay the assigned service provider or technician directly after the agreed work has been completed.
Customers should obtain a receipt or payment acknowledgement from the service provider.
Customers must not make additional or unauthorised payments to anyone claiming to represent eZarurat without verifying the payment request.
7.3 Customer Payment Responsibility
Customers must pay the agreed service charges, including any applicable taxes or separately disclosed charges, through the selected payment method.
Any booking fee, inspection fee, cancellation charge or other customer-side charge will be payable only where it has been clearly disclosed before the customer agrees to the booking or service.
- Commission and Service Provider Payments
eZarurat follows a commission-based business model under which commission or platform charges are payable by service providers for bookings, customer leads or services obtained through the eZarurat platform, as applicable to their agreement with eZarurat.
The following conditions apply:
- The applicable commission rate, calculation method and payment schedule will be communicated to and agreed with the respective service provider separately.
- Commission may be calculated as a percentage of the service value or under another mutually agreed arrangement.
- Where eZarurat collects the customer’s online payment, the agreed commission and other authorised deductions may be adjusted before settlement to the service provider.
- Where the customer pays the service provider directly, the service provider remains responsible for paying the agreed commission to eZarurat in accordance with the applicable provider agreement.
- Service providers must accurately report bookings, completed services, service values and customer payments where such reporting is required.
- Service providers must not deliberately bypass eZarurat to avoid commission on bookings or customers obtained through the platform, contrary to their provider agreement.
- Any applicable taxes, invoicing requirements and statutory deductions will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant agreement.
The commission payable by a service provider is a business arrangement between eZarurat and that service provider. It does not automatically create an additional charge for the customer.
- Customer Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
Customers should inform eZarurat as early as reasonably possible if they wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking.
Cancellation and rescheduling may depend on whether a service provider has already been assigned, travelled to the location, started work or incurred expenses.
Any cancellation fee must be communicated in advance and must comply with applicable law.
Where an online payment has been collected, eligible refunds will be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method, subject to payment-gateway procedures and applicable law.
Refund eligibility may depend on whether the service was cancelled, not provided, partially completed or affected by another valid circumstance.
Customers should contact our support team with their booking details and payment information to request a refund or report a payment issue.
Nothing in this clause limits any refund or other right available to a consumer under applicable law.
- Service Provider Responsibilities
Service providers using or accepting bookings through eZarurat are expected to:
- Provide services professionally and with reasonable care and skill.
- Maintain appropriate qualifications, licences or permissions where required.
- Provide accurate service information and pricing.
- Treat customers respectfully and professionally.
- Follow applicable safety standards and laws.
- Obtain customer approval before undertaking additional chargeable work.
- Protect customer information and property.
- Honour confirmed appointments or promptly communicate unavoidable changes.
- Pay agreed commission and platform charges to eZarurat.
- Cooperate with reasonable customer complaints and service investigations.
eZarurat may suspend or discontinue a service provider’s access for misconduct, repeated complaints, fraudulent activity, non-payment of commission or violation of applicable agreements or laws.
- Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate booking and contact information.
- Explain the service requirement clearly.
- Ensure reasonable and safe access to the service location.
- Keep children, pets and other occupants safe during service work.
- Confirm prices and additional work before authorisation.
- Make payment through the agreed payment method.
- Treat service providers respectfully.
- Avoid false complaints, fraudulent bookings or misuse of the platform.
Customers should not ask service providers to perform unlawful or unsafe work.
- Quality, Complaints and Service Issues
eZarurat aims to facilitate reliable and satisfactory home services.
If a customer experiences poor workmanship, delay, damage, misconduct, incomplete work or another service-related issue, the customer should contact eZarurat through the official support channels as soon as possible.
We may review the complaint, request relevant information, communicate with the service provider and attempt to facilitate an appropriate resolution.
Where appropriate, we may assist with re-service, correction, refund discussions or other remedies in accordance with the applicable service arrangement and law.
The availability of complaint assistance does not mean that eZarurat guarantees every independent service provider’s work or assumes responsibility for matters beyond its legal obligations.
- Property, Safety and Damage
Customers and service providers should take reasonable precautions to protect people and property during the performance of a service.
Service providers must exercise reasonable care while working at a customer’s premises.
Any alleged damage, theft, injury or misconduct should be reported promptly with supporting information where available.
Responsibility for damage or loss will be determined based on the facts, the relevant service arrangement and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
- Third-Party Service Providers
Service providers may be independent individuals, technicians, contractors, businesses or other professionals.
Their availability, experience, qualifications and service capabilities may vary.
eZarurat may undertake reasonable onboarding or verification procedures, but customers should independently confirm any qualifications, licences or professional credentials relevant to specialised work.
eZarurat does not guarantee a particular service provider will always be available.

- Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activities.

- Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jha Info Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
Where eZarurat acts as a booking and coordination platform, it does not automatically assume the role of the independent service provider performing the work.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where exclusion is prohibited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, statutory obligations or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in this section limits the rights and remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law.
- Indemnification
Users agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from their unlawful conduct, fraudulent activity, material breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.
Any indemnification obligation will apply only to the extent permitted by law and will not cover losses caused by eZarurat’s own fraud, wilful misconduct or breach of non-excludable legal obligations.
